Feel the pain!

When I was in NY, I got informed of this marvellous woman, called Jillian Michaels. She is the most hardcore mother fucker I've ever encountered. She works you out like no other workout invented. The first few work outs feel like you're probably going to puke/die but she definitely gets results. Right now, even typing this is making my muscles hurt but in 30 days, when I can look at myself naked again and think 'hellllllll yea,' then it'll all have been worth it.

Kicking it back to the old skool

Well Tuesday's over! Had a good chat with my Gretel shaped lady, did some work, did some window shopping and now I'm on the bus home. Decided to shuffle my entire ipod library and boom- destiny's child all up in this bitch- being all female empowering and shiiiiiiiit.

I haven't forgotten about you, darling

........... I just don't have anything interesting to report!
I endeavour to do something lovely each day which I can update about here but I don't want this to turn into one of those blogs where I just complain about the mundanity of my life and how shitty work is.
In honour of this statement, I shall sometimes go days, maybe even a week, without updating, just so that I don't fall into that habit.


So please don't fret, I haven't forgotten about you my love, I just am too busy doing routine life stuff.

England is a strange place to be today. Riot's are happening all over the country- mainly in London, but with some minor uprising's in Nottingham (where I live,) Liverpool and  Birmingham. I expect there shall be more and I fear this will get worse before it starts to disappate.

I'd like to put into words how I feel about this whole sorry situation but I just can't.

On a brighter note, I did paint my vintage butchers block last night and it looks like this:

Then this morning at work, I turned my hand to origami. I made a little Swan- his name is John. After that, I tried to make stars and a lotus but failed miserably so had a cup of tea instead!

Monday, Monday!

..........it was pretty good to me! (Well- so far!)

This morning, I made Chris an *awesome* darth vader card, to congratulate him (and his football team!) for finally winning a game!

Then this afternoon, I had a cheeky little tea break with a penguin (the chocolate kind- not the black and white and waddly kind!)

................and on my dinner break, I found this new cup that I want  NEED!

Now it's time to go home and do some painting!

Today I am feeling all doom and gloom and what not, so when my friend updated her fb about the new hello kitty for Vans collection, it sppeared to be the light at the end of my proverbial tunnel. Get to the schuh website and £48 later, these babies are mine!
